Vision.
To create a supportive community for cancer patients and their families.
As the Mark Glicini Meaningful Growth Foundation embarks on a journey of endurance and togetherness against the trials and tribulations brought upon by cancer, I state: every inch of my heart is in this.
The word foundation has three definitions: an underlying basis or principle, the load-bearing part of a building and the action of establishing an institution or organization on a permanent basis, especially with an endowment. My aspirational intention for the Mark Glicini Meaningful Growth Foundation is to fulfill all three with a tribe of passionate people who seek to uplift others.
MGF is truly a class act…They understand when a person comes to you for help, they don’t need this lengthy application to fill out with nonsensical questions, and they can’t wait for assistance when they are on the verge of homelessness; MGF acted in a timely manner and we are eternally grateful and we cannot wait until we are in a position to help others, such as your organization who help us in our desperate time of need.
I just simply don't know how to thank you for your support and kind generosity in helping me to battle the sometimes almost seemingly insurmountable challenge I'm facing after being diagnosed with two stage IV cancers, bone and breast. I know sometimes life can take an unexpected turn out of the blue but sometimes when it happens you just don't know where to go next. And, you were there for me, thank you again. May God Bless you and your family, you have inspired me and given me confidence to go forward. Thank you for all you do on behalf of all of us that you have helped so much.
Absolutely the most caring, kind and helpful people you will ever know. I cannot thank you enough for the burden you have lifted from my mind. Just amazing people gladly helping others.
Mark Glicini Meaningful Growth Foundation was an absolute blessing to me! I am battling stage 3c ovarian cancer and have been unable to work for over the past 6 months. I am self employed and don’t qualify for any state or government assistance. So when I found this organization I immediately applied for help and it only took 24 hours for the foundation to reach out to me and send a check that absolutely helped relieve some financial stress! I am eternally grateful to them and to God for the help they offered me! Thank you so much and may God continue to bless Mark Glicini and his amazing Meaningful Growth Foundation!
Hello I just want to say thank you to you and your team. My best friend, Kelly has only a few months left. She lost her dad just a couple months ago, so now it's just her and her son. Her dad was the one who paid the rent and other bills so you can imagine the burden it's been on her... She is trying to make her time left really count with her son. She couldn't come up with all the rent so they filed an eviction. I didn't know what was going to happen. Then..... She opened her mail and found your check. The weight was lifted, she cried, I cried. I cant thank you enough for your donation. Thank you for your love and kindness to my best friend. Very blessed and thankful for your love! You have made her time left a whole lot better!! (And mine) Have a great day!!! - Shalyce Lucero
Cancer is hard enough to deal with, but asking for financial help is almost just as hard. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation for your generous financial helping hand to support me during my treatment. Your kindness and generosity has helped to take a burden off my shoulders, allowing me to focus on my health and mental well being while recovering from each treatment. I am truly thankful for your generosity which has filled me with hope and optimism. Your support has meant the world to me. I will carry this kindness throughout this ordeal.

What challenges were you facing before connecting with MGF?
I work for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, which funds cutting-edge research across the country. One of the challenges we’ve seen is that many of the families we support face significant financial hardships — often having to leave their jobs or struggling to afford travel for treatment. MGF truly helps fill that gap and serves as a lifeline for these families who are holding on to their last hope for a cure.
How did MGF support you?
MGF provided direct financial assistance to families in need, and we heard firsthand from parents that this support was truly a godsend during the most difficult stages of treatment. It helped ease the financial burden at a time when their focus needed to be entirely on their child’s care and healing.

What challenges were you facing before connecting with MGF?
As an Executive Director for a cancer support organization, my team and I were often faced with the challenge of locating financial resources for the everyday needs of our clients. It is very distressing when an individual has to decide whether to eat or pay for for treatment.
How did MGF support you?
When I met Mark, I knew he would make a difference. When he talked about his family and their commitment to making a difference in the cancer community, his passion and drive were obvious. The Glicini Family has already had a tremendous impact on our local community and, specifically, with our clients. We are glad to call them our 'friends.'

To create a supportive community for cancer patients and their families.
To provide direct, timely financial aid to cancer patients for medical-related expenses.
Like so many, cancer has had a profound impact on my life. It took the lives of my grandfather and uncle before I was born. For years starting in 2011, I stood by my mother’s side as she battled and overcame lymphoma. Her fortitude, unwavering support from loved ones and God’s will triumphed amid extreme adversity.
Although we have not and may not win every fight, we will relentlessly strive to make an individual’s growth meaningful and to ensure his or her family feels cared for and supported. Thank you for your love, God Bless!
